After a 9 year hiatus, Madison, WI based Pop Rock band Be The Young is back with a renewed energy, and a determination to make up for lost time. Their soaring (re) debut single "Pink Summer" is a breath of fresh air, and a blast of nostalgia.

In November of 2024 BTY released their blistering second single of the year “Go To Hell”, showcasing that they’re not afraid to take on modern issues with all the energy of the early 00’s scene.

BTY's signature blend of anthemic pop hooks and epic instrumentation are sure to win over fans old and new. Poised to come back with a vengeance, the future is bright for fans of Be The Young.

Before the hiatus, BTY was one of the most promising pop punk bands coming out of the Milwaukee, WI scene. Coming off winning the Kiss FM radio competition, they were signed for distribution through republic records, and poised to hit the road. Life happened, and the original lineup all went their separate ways.

In 2025, Be The Young is ready to make the comeback official, bursting with energy and with no shortage of new material. Focused on doing things the right way, they plan on earning their place in the Madison, WI music scene. With several releases on the horizon, sky is the limit for BTY.

“After a 9 year hiatus, the Madison-based pop-rockers Be The Young are finally ready to return. Delivering a mass of energy and a determination to share their best work yet, the group are at their best yet. Sharing their re-debut single ‘Pink Summer’ they’ve set the tone of what the new band has to offer, moulding nostalgia with pop hooks and epic rock instruments that are sure to connect with audiences across genres.

Continuing in their new era with single ‘Go To Hell’, the group are at their angstiest and most pop-punk and alternative-rock based yet. With blaring electric guitar, thumping drums and loud, chant-along vocals, there’s so much to adore. A little reminiscent of Simple Plan and Good Charlotte with all the charisma of a modern sound, they couldn’t stand out more. The lyricism is just as powerful, sharing a message of how our world leaders continue to fail us. Particularly critical of the older generations, there’s an air of hope about the future as the younger people seek to make a difference: ‘take it all away, we will put it back one day.’”

“Pink Summer” is the anthemic new single from Wisconsin-based pop-punk band Be The Young. It’s the first new music from the band in 9 years and demonstrates a timely comeback for the band in a resurgent genre. “Pink Summer” doesn’t just stick to the tropes, with the harmonized guitar solo being a highlight moment” - Backgroundanimal.com

“We featured Wisconsin-based pop-punk band Be The Young for their previous single, “Pink Summer.” Their new single “Go To Hell” might be even better. It has early 2000s pop-punk polish with a chorus that feels like something The All-American Rejects might write.” - Backgroundanimal.com
